The student association Junior empresa Doka (hereinafter, DOKA) would like to inform you about the use of cookies on its websites.

Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your computer through web pages. They are essential tools for providing many services within the Information Society and Electronic Commerce. Among other things, they allow a website to store and retrieve information about a user's browsing habits or their device, and depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognise the user and improve the service offered.

Types of cookies

Two types of cookies can be distinguished depending on the entity that manages the domain sending them: first-party cookies and third-party cookies. Additionally, depending on the storage period, we refer to session cookies or persistent cookies. Finally, depending on their purpose, there are five types: technical, personalisation, analytics, advertising, and behavioural advertising cookies.

Cookies used for Information Society and Electronic Commerce services are exempt from the requirements of Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) when used to allow communication between the user's device and the network, or to provide a service expressly requested by the user.

The Article 29 Working Party, in Opinion 4/2012, considers the following cookies exempt from requiring consent: user input cookies, user authentication or identification cookies (session only), user security cookies, multimedia player session cookies, load-balancing session cookies, user interface customisation cookies, and social content sharing plug-ins.

DOKA's website is hosted on Hostinger Website Builder. The only cookies present are strictly necessary technical cookies managed by Cloudflare, the infrastructure used by Hostinger to ensure the security and proper functioning of the site. As strictly necessary cookies, they are exempt from obtaining user consent in accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.
